It’s Friday. My brain is fried. As much as I’d like to think of something clever to say or a question I have to ask about running/jogging/life, I can’t think of anything. So I’m drinking a cup of coffee instead.
At least I finished out another week!
Pre-workout blood sugar: 194 mg/dl (This is what happens when I decrease my basal insulin by 50% and then eat a cookie.)
The workout: Same as Tuesday–4 minute warm-up. Two repetitions of the following: 1:30 minutes jogging followed by 1:30 minutes walking and then 3:00 minutes jogging followed by 3:00 walking. 5 minute cool-down.
Then I walked around the track with my boyfriend for an hour.
Post-workout blood sugar: 77 mg/dl
Post-workout snack: Bowl of oatmeal with peanut-butter accompanied by a cup of hot tea with lemon. Yummy.
Post-workout activity: Bed
